COPD Audit Case Studies

The ‘back to basics’ education approach adopted by the Respiratory Care programme has the ultimate aim of assisting healthcare practitioners to assess and empower patients to manage their COPD condition more effectively. Following completion of a four day training course, as part of the reflective learning process students were asked to conduct a small audit on an aspect of COPD management in their own practice where they recognised improvement could be made. The following case studies are examples of the audits that are undertaken:
