Innovation Scout – Events

Previous events:

AHSN Innovation Scout Showcase and Networking Event 2016 with Yorkshire & Humber, 13th October 2016

The event was held jointly  with our colleagues in Yorkshire and Humber AHSN and the two NHS innovation hubs for the regions (Medipex and NHS Innovations North) and provided the opportunity for Innovation Scouts to meet with peers in Yorkshire and Humber to learn about different approaches being used and to share innovations. There was a competition for Scouts to be awarded cash prizes to support their innovations.

Determining unmet need and scoping solutions, 5th July 2016

This course is available to all AHSN Innovation Scouts but is also relevant to those with an interest in innovation or those who have come up with an idea before. As this will be an interactive session, numbers will be limited to ensure delegates get the most out of the day. Priority will be given to Innovation Scouts who have attended previous learning events.

The Essentials of Innovation (Cohort 2), Wednesday 27th April 2016, 09:00 – 16:30, Durham County Cricket Club

This event was primarily aimed towards developing a new cohort of Scouts in NHS CCGs / primary care. We also welcome interest from those working in a relevant higher education setting in the region. Your organisation must either be a member of the AHSN NENC to sign up, or providing primary healthcare services in general practice.

Innovation Scouts Networking Event (Cohort 1), 25th November 2015

This event was held for the first cohort of Innovation Scouts to come together to connect with each other and to learn about how different organisations had approached the Scout Scheme in the first year of its set up. It also acted as a forum to share some of the AHSN funded healthcare improvement projects.

Please refer to our events page for information on events relevant to those involved or interested in the innovation scouts scheme.
