The North East Frailty Summit: New approaches to caring for our most frail and vulnerable

5th December 2016

Organised by the Newcastle Gateshead CCG Care Home Vanguard and the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria, this conference offers the opportunity to find out more about innovative new approaches to improving the health and care of frail older people.

We will be showcasing a wide range of improvement initiatives through a mix of plenary sessions and workshops. Confirmed speakers include Dr Dawn Moody (Associate National Clinical Director for Older People and Integrated Person-Centred Care for NHS England), Professor John Young (Professor of Elderly Care Medicine, University of Leeds) and regional Vanguard leads.

There will be the opportunity to network and meet people with shared interests.
